ISO/IEC 20000

ISO/IEC 20000 is an international standard that allows organisations to show that they actually apply IT Service Management best practices. The standard ensures that the organisations that get certified are constantly striving for ways to improve in the areas of IT Services Management. The ISO/IEC 20000 standard was first published in 2005, based on the ITIL® best practices. It quickly became widely diffused and has now become a mark of differentiation and a competitive advantage for suppliers of IT services.

ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation

The ISO/IEC 20000 Foundation course is the first step of the qualification ISO/IEC 20000 qualification path according to APMG scheme.

ISO/IEC 20000 Practitioner

At the Practitioner level, the candidate reaches a level of knowledge of ISO / IEC 20000 and its application enough to support organizations that want to acquire or maintain ISO/IEC 20000 certification.

ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor

This is a transition course for experienced auditors. It does not cover the principles of generic management system audit techniques, and for this reason delegates attending the course are required to have a minimum of three years’ experience conducting audits in an IT environment. This may be as a third party auditor or as an internal auditor for an organization. It is mandatory to have attended an APMG-accredited Auditor course in order to take this examination
